Asus ROG Rapture GT AX11000 Pro: The Ultimate EVA-01 Inspired Gaming Router for Evangelion Fans
For tech enthusiasts and anime fans, the intersection of high-performance hardware and iconic pop culture is a match made in heaven. Asus has recently made waves by unveiling a limited-edition version of their powerhouse router: the Asus ROG Rapture GT AX11000 Pro. This isn't just any regular update; this specific model is a tribute to one of the most influential anime series of all time, Neon Genesis Evangelion.
A Legendary Collaboration: ROG x Evangelion
Neon Genesis Evangelion, the 1990s masterpiece, reshaped the mecha genre with its deep psychological themes and giant battle robots. Its legacy continues to thrive, especially in Japan and among international collectors. Recognizing this cult following, Asus has integrated the essence of the EVA-01 Test Type—the iconic purple and green mecha piloted by Shinji Ikari—into their flagship networking hardware. This collaboration is a treat for those who want their gaming setup to reflect their passion for classic anime while maintaining top-tier performance.
Aesthetic Excellence and Mecha Design
While the internals of the router are familiar to the ROG Rapture series, the exterior has undergone a total transformation. The Asus ROG Rapture GT AX11000 Pro Evangelion Edition features a striking purple chassis accented by vibrant green highlights on the antennas. But the detail doesn't stop there. The main body of the router is adorned with intricate EVA-01 etchings and custom graphics that make it look less like a piece of networking equipment and more like a high-tech artifact from the NERV headquarters.
Uncompromising Performance Under the Hood
Don't let the stylish exterior fool you; this router is a beast when it comes to raw power. To handle the most demanding gaming environments, Asus has equipped this model with a Broadcom 2.0GHz quad-core processor built on a 16nm process. This powerhouse CPU is supported by 1GB of RAM and 256MB of flash storage, ensuring that the router can manage hundreds of devices simultaneously without breaking a sweat or causing latency spikes during intense online matches.
Lightning-Fast Connectivity and Capacity
As a dual-band router, the GT AX11000 Pro supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency bands. However, the real headline is its throughput capacity. Asus promises that this router can achieve combined speeds of up to 11,000Mbps, making it one of the fastest consumer routers on the market today. Whether you are streaming 8K content, downloading massive game files, or engaging in competitive esports, the bandwidth provided is more than enough to keep your connection stable and lag-free.

Pricing and Market Availability
This collector's item was officially launched on March 13, 2023, following a collaboration between Asus and the Evangelion franchise. As expected with high-end ROG gear and limited-edition licensing, it comes with a premium price tag. The router was introduced at 3,499 Yuan, which roughly translates to a significant investment for any gamer. However, for the true Evangelion fan who refuses to compromise on internet speed, this piece of hardware is likely worth every penny.
