Larger non-SME corporations aren't far behind, with adoption rates climbing from 44% to a solid 62.5% in 2024.
To honor these trailblazers, the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) are launching the inaugural SME AI Impact Awards 2026. This isn't just about handing out trophies; it’s about establishing a gold standard. Winners in two categories—those developing their own proprietary AI tools and those masterfully implementing off-the-shelf solutions—will receive an official Trustmark. On the security front, the RSM Cyber2SME™ Programme is tackling the human element of digital risk. They are offering complimentary phishing simulations and workshops to thousands of SMEs. In an era where AI can make phishing attempts look terrifyingly real, these tabletop exercises on incident response and data threats are no longer optional—they are essential survival skills.
